About Us
ProviCo Rural’s dairy division was founded in 1999 by people with generations of direct farm and dairy experience, we remain proudly 100 % Australian owned and intergenerational. We know what Australian farmers need to improve farm productivity and animal health, because we are doing it every day ourselves on our farms. Our team has more than 50 employees, many of whom have worked in the business for decades, who share our passion for formulating, manufacturing, and delivering products that give production or companion animals the best start of life. We not only supply products with complimentary benefits like ProfeLac milk powders and RumenStart solid feeds through our ProStart Program we supply the best practise knowledge about how to use them.
A bit about our production.
ProviCo Rural is Australia’s only milk replacer manufacturer with an integrated supply chain, sourcing raw milk from Australian farmers. All ProviCo Rural milk replacers are manufactured at our fully accredited Victorian facility, allowing its Quality and Production teams to ensure consistent quality and supply.
Our ProfeLAC nutritional milk powders help thousands of animals grow up healthier and stronger. ProviCo’s specialised range of animal health supplements and calf-rearing products are carefully developed to ideally complement the ProfeLAC range and our ProStart Program.

ProviCo Rural’s partnership with Tablelands Pastoral Co.
Tablelands Pastoral is an Australian-owned operation run by the Paterson family in Gippsland, Victoria. Across two properties spanning over 2,000 acres in Benambra and Boisdale, the focus has evolved to help address one of the industry’s key challenges and provide a large scale working example of Beef on Dairy. Working in partnership with local dairy farmers and the wider community, Tablelands provides a practical, scalable solution that gives thousands of surplus calves a productive and valuable life, that is able to be replicated in other geographic locations.
Tablelands Pastoral is commited to training and education of local and international people interested in learning and working in calf rearing.
